Fabrizio Volpi, born and grown up in Florence - Italy, has always been passionate about photography, anthropology, archeology and travel. He started taking pictures as a boy with an old rangefinder camera. The first great passion was black and white, developed and printed personally in the dark room. From years switched to digital, he prefers the wide-angle lenses that push him to immerse himself in living totally the realities he portrays. His focus is on social and antropological issues. His passion for travel has led him to visit more than 45 countries, many of them several times. He attended a Advertising and Industrial Photography Course c/o Dryphoto in Prato and a Photojournalism Masterclass c/o MUSA in Monza. On 2012 he published the volume Il Santuario Etrusco di Pietramarina Il Faro ed., and, on 2021 Il Tempo degli Etruschi Effigi ed., the result of personal archaeological researches in Tuscany. As freelance photographer he has collaborated with Demotix and CorbisImage agencies.
